Present Scenario of Wood and Agro-Based Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Prospective for its Future Development

Eastern Uttar Pradesh comprising of 27 districts is less industrialised and underdeveloped due to fewer number industries established MSMEs in the region. This case study illustrates huge potential for development new MSME sector like furniture industry, paper product industry fruit processing units For present eastern has been divided into 3 regions viz. Tarai region, Ganga-Ghaghra doab region Vindhyan upland. The maximum wood agro-based micro, small medium enterprises i.e. 21358 followed by Vindhya having 11548 2287 respectively. Average based micro artisan minimum 726.33 Doab i.e.1642.92. share UP only 6.59%. reflects that can be boon a hope economy near future establishment timber/furniture Gorakhpur manufacturing unit Sonebhadra district will result overall state.
